Meriam Process Technologies announces availability of HART® Configuration Solution through Fuji Electric Instruments Co.

HART Configuration Solution will increase asset visibility and improve overall control for Fuji Electric Instrumentation users.

Cleveland, Ohio, August 6, 2004 —Through an ongoing commercial partnership, Fuji Electric Instruments Co., Ltd. and Meriam Process Technologies announces today that Meriam’s MFC 4100™ series Multi-Function HART Communicator will be available through Fuji Electric Instruments’ world-wide sales channel.

The Device Management System software offers the ability to configure and calibrate HART and conventional field devices as well as manage their life cycle costs. With Meriam’s MFT 4000™ series documenting calibrators and MFC 4100™ series HART Communicators, conventional and HART devices are configured and commissioned in minutes, thereby shortening the commissioning process and minimizing preventive maintenance shutdown periods.
